At Mere Green we recognise the importance of ensuring we have a strong partnership with parents, carers and guardians. We value the involvement of parents in the life of the school and believe that true partnership working between the school and caregivers provides a wealth of benefits to our pupils.

We aim to have excellent communication between school and home, to actively involve parents in the education and wellbeing of their child, to utilise the expertise of parents to enhance the learning experience for children and to seek the feedback and opinions of parents to inform decision making and school priorities.

There are a range of ways for you to be involved in school life, this includes: attending open events and workshops, following us on social media, sharing your expertise, volunteering, joining the PTA and supporting school events.

if you would like to become more involved within the life of the school or if you have any feedback or suggestions please do not hesitate to get in touch. We offer an open door policy, members of the leadership team are on duty at the start and end of the school day or feel free to get in touch by phone or email.

The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is committed to keeping our students safe, both in school and the wider community. As part of our safeguarding arrangements, we have a two-way information sharing agreement in place with the local police authority. The agreement is compliant with Crime & Disorder Act 1998 (s.115) and Data Protection Act 1998(s.29.3; s.35.2.), and focuses on preventing young people from becoming involved or further involved in crime and anti-social behaviour as a victim or offender.
